Week Number 2!

It's odd. It's crazy to think I've been at 'What Alice Found' for two weeks already, it's going super quick, but then its also crazy to think it's only been two weeks as I feel like I've always been there as I'm having such a great time and feel so comfortable with everything and everyone. Since the photo shoot we've been excitedly waiting for the final shots and they finally arrived this week! I'm not gonna let you see them just yet ;) as I want them to be a big surprise on the ASOS Marketplace Boutique but I'll tell you that I am sooo happy with them, they look greaatt! Everyone involved should be really pleased with what we achieved, I certainly am!
So this week I've spent my time thinking about launching the ASOS Boutique. Setting up smaller street style shoots for the garments we will be selling, measuring them and writing up product descriptions. This has allowed me to get a lot more familiar with the shops stock and the different styles / era's of clothes they sell. The more I see, the more my interest in vintage fashion grows. The clothes are just so much more fun and unique than most of what we see nowadays! We've decided that within the Marketplace Shop, we're going to break it down into trend groups, styling outfits to fit within these then creating moodboards and mini scenes to accompany them on the ASOS blog and  Fashion Finder. If you haven't already heard of ASOS Fashion Finder then definitely go and take a lot, it's a great way to create outfit/styling ideas. This week I did a shoot with Emily, one of the models from the big Alice Shoot last week, looking at the growing 'Grunge Trend' but adding a vintage twist. Keep a look out for these and more images being uploaded onto ASOS soon, it's all very exciting!!!

As well as all of this, I've been able to write a few more exciting dates into my diary this week including vintage fairs and festivals which I am sooo excited for already! You can be sure you will be hearing / seeing a lot more about those when they come closer, but for now, here's a few of the street shots I mentioned.
